Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP)

Environmental Management during a construction project is essential to a successful project outcome.  Over recent years this has become recognised more and more at project planning with the requirement for project CEMP becoming more and more typical across a variety of  construction projects typically dependant on size, location or sensitivity.  Typically a CEMP is a project document that describes work practices, construction procedures and responsibilities to be undertaken during the construction of a project. The CEMP describes control measures that are required so that a project can be completed whilst avoiding, minimising and mitigating potential effects on the environment and surrounding area.
